Registration is open for summer camp programs at five Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis locations. Summer hiring also is open, and the camps are accepting food donations. 

The camps, open to kids ages 5 to 18, offer activities ranging from art and athletics to cooking and performance.

Camps run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays from June 3 to July 19 with the exception of June 19, July 4 and July 5. Each program costs $50 per child and includes healthy meals and a snack every day.

Families can register at their club location of interest. Boys & Girls Clubs membership forms are available online. Participating locations include:

  • Finish Line Boys & Girls Club, 3870 N. Post Road
  • Keenan-Stahl Boys & Girls Club, 1949 E. Troy Ave.
  • Lilly Boys & Girls Club, 801 S. State Ave.
  • LeGore Boys & Girls Club, 5228 W. Minnesota St.
  • Wheeler-Dowe Boys & Girls Club, 2310 30th St.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis also partners with The Mind Trust and United Way of Central Indiana to offer free learning enrichment during the Indy Summer Learning Labs program. 

That program serves students entering grades 1 to 9 on weekday mornings from June 17 to July 19. Registration is available on a separate Indy Summer Learning Labs website.

Hiring is open. Here’s how to apply.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis is hiring several positions to support its summer programs. Pay for youth development professionals starts at $8 to $12 an hour. The clubs are seeking applicants ages 18 and older with an interest in arts, academics, computers, sports, STEM and life skills.

Summer job applications are available on the Boys & Girls Clubs website.
