If you’re seeking rest and renewal, Peace Learning Center is hosting a personal peace practices retreat at Eagle Creek Park Sunday, March 23.

The Peace Learning Center teaches that peace can be found through taking care of yourself and others. This retreat is a way to try out a few practices for your personal peace, which can include things like exercising regularly and getting enough sleep.

Check-in is at 12:30 p.m., then attendees will enjoy gentle breathwork exercises, a nature walk among budding trees, a guided time for personal reflection and a chance to share with others.

The retreat runs from 1-4 p.m. It costs $20, and you can register ahead of time. Coffee, tea and snacks are provided, but bring your own yoga mat. When you register online, you’ll get a pass to get into Eagle Creek Park.

Heidi Fledderjohn, a yoga teacher and dance therapist who practices in Indy, will lead the retreat. Her practice focuses on connection to your body and combining meditation, movement and psychology.
