Alma mater: Western Kentucky University
As Mirror Indy's community photojournalist, I'm eager to capture moments in real-time and tell the stories of the Indianapolis community.
Before joining Mirror Indy, I attended Western Kentucky University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Journalism and Photography, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Marketing. I have completed multiple photojournalism internships, including The Indianapolis Star, The Boston Globe, and The Chautauquan Daily.
I have been honored with awards for my photo and video work from the White House News Photographers Association, the Hearst Journalism Awards Program, the National Press Photographers Foundation, the College Photographer of the Year awards, the Ohio Valley Emmy Awards and Adobe.
When I am not at work, I enjoy taking long drives through the country backroads with the windows down, going on hikes, traveling to new destinations, attending concerts and playing the piano.
