Kyle has experience writing for IndyStar, the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, the Herald Bulletin, the Ball State Daily News and the Sporting News. At Ball State, he served as news editor, sports editor, print managing editor, sports beat reporter and summer editor in-chief. Kyle won the 2023 Keating Competition, an annual college writing competition organized by the Indianapolis Press Club Foundation.
Kyle joined Mirror Indy as an intern because it represents the type of journalism and storytelling which he believes serves as the country's lifeblood. Kyle believes truthful, community-based storytelling is more important now than ever.
Kyle enjoys physical media, with a collection of more than 200 vinyl records and DVDs. He also enjoys watching and learning about professional wrestling and baseball. When he travels, trying new foods is always the most anticipated thing on his list.
