The Center Township Trustee’s Office is hosting a variety of events and assistance programs this month.
All events take place at the Center Township Trustee’s Office, located at the Julia Carson Government Center, 300 E. Fall Creek Parkway N. Drive.
Residents can also sign up for the Center Township Trustee monthly calendar by emailing information@centergov.org.
The trustee’s office will close at noon Friday, Aug. 29, for Labor Day weekend.
Here’s a list of events and programs happening in August.
Veterans’ resource table
🗓️ 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mondays

The Indianapolis Office of Veteran Services is available to connect veterans with resources and opportunities available through the city’s public and private partners.
Free phones and tablets
🗓️ 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays

Qualifying low-income residents can receive a free smartphone or tablet, courtesy of Constellation Wireless.
Food truck Fridays

Indi Taco will offer a fusion of Indian and Mexican food on select Fridays in August. Prices vary.
Resume writing class

Homeownership program

Representatives from the Central Indiana Realtist Association, part of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, will be available to answer questions about paths to homeownership.
IT class for seniors

Attend a computer literacy class for seniors looking to improve their IT skills.
Pro bono legal help
