La Plaza will hold the 43rd Annual FIESTA Indianapolis from 12-8 p.m. Sept. 21 at Military Park, 601 W. New York St.
The family friendly event will feature food from different countries, dancing and music from local performers. The event also will include a health fair and Passport to the Americas — an activity in which children can learn about different cultures.
The goal of FIESTA Indianapolis is to celebrate the diversity of Latino culture in Central Indiana, said CEO of La Plaza Miriam Acevedo Davis.Â
The festival is being held during National Hispanic Heritage Month, which is from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.Â
