If you’ve been wanting to learn English, 2026 could be your year.

The Indiana Latino Institute is offering free English classes both in-person and virtually starting in January. 

The classes are available to U.S. residents and are designed for people who want to learn basic language skills. 

In the class, students will learn the alphabet, numbers, verbs and basic common phrases. Students will also receive class materials such as a handbook for free.

In-person classes begin at 5 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Julia Carson Government Center, 300 E. Fall Creek Parkway N. Drive, Suite 200

Virtual classes start at 10 a.m. Jan. 16.
