Mitchell replaced William Jackson on the advisory board last year. Mitchell worked in the Indiana Department of Correction before retiring.
Legislative priorities include:
- Continuing to help the homeless community in Indianapolis through township assistance.
- Keeping the budget balanced.
- Increasing outreach from trustee’s office to community, including by starting bus trips to the trustee’s office so people can learn about resources.
