Michael Young

Young was first elected to represent Indianapolis’ west side in 2000. Previously, he served in the Indiana House for 14 years.

Legislative priorities include:

  • Reducing income and property taxes.
  • Heightening sentences for those convicted of violent crimes.
  • Banning abortion in all cases.
