Grassy Creek Regional Park will host a free Christmas event open to community members. 

The park’s Christmas Cafe is 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at the Grassy Creek Park Environmental Community Center, 3510 N. German Church Road. 

Participants can receive a gift, create crafts and drink hot chocolate. Space is limited and registration can be completed online. 

Mirror Indy, a nonprofit newsroom, is funded through grants and donations from individuals, foundations and organizations.
