The Indianapolis International Airport board sold a piece of land it wasn’t using to Plainfield, a deal approved at the board’s October meeting.

The 17-acre parcel of land, east of the Shops and Perry Crossing, was sold to the town for $295,000.

The land will be placed back into the Plainfield Parks system, officials said. At the October meeting, the board also approved the purchase of a new snowblower for about $800,000.
