A Martindale Brightwood nonprofit will host two fish fries to raise money for events that help people who have cancer.

MAHRS Indy’s fish fries are 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. March 27 and April 3 at 3639 N. Capitol Ave.

Catfish and perch plates are $18 and come with french fries, coleslaw, hush puppies and a drink. Order ahead by calling 317-474-2848.

MAHRS Indy, an organization that also feeds people experiencing homelessness, will use the proceeds to fund upcoming events this summer, including a cancer walk-a-thon in August.

Mirror Indy, a nonprofit newsroom, is funded through grants and donations from individuals, foundations and organizations.
