Adults who are neurodiverse are invited to attend a free event 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at the Fort Ben library branch.
Neurodiversity is an umbrella term used to describe how people’s brains develop or work differently, and includes conditions such as autism and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. The library is hosting a causal neurodiverse meetup. Games, puzzles, crafts and conversation starters will be provided. There will also be space for people who want to attend the event but would rather silently do their own activities.Â
The Fort Ben library branch is located at 9330 E. 56th St. More information can be found on the library’s website.Â
