Indy Parks is having an open house Aug. 28 at the Riverside Park Family Center for westside residents to have their say on a planned nature center along Cold Spring Road.

The nature center will be built on the grounds of the former Riverside Golf Course as a part of the Riverside Adventure Park construction project at the north end of Riverside Regional Park.

The input received at this meeting will help influence the nature center’s schematic design, which is expected to be finalized by early next year.

The community open house will be held 6-8 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Riverside Park Family Center at 2420 E. Riverside Drive.
