Learn the basics of camping with a free class at Washington Park, 3130 E. 30th St.

The Intro to Camping class is 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, in the park’s family center.

Participants will learn about what equipment is needed for camping and how to use it. Camping locations will also be recommended.

The class is open to families. Registration can be completed online.
