Indy teens looking to save up some money this summer could find an opportunity at their nearest YMCA.
The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is hiring lifeguards, swim instructors and camp counselors to work this summer.
Teens can learn more about the positions, apply and interview on site at a job fair this weekend.
Three YMCA locations will have fairs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12. Each job fair will hire for positions across 10 Central Indiana branches.
Benefits include a free YMCA membership, certifications, paid training and 20 hours per week of free child care provided while working.
YMCA officials say the summer positions are ideal for high school and college students, recent graduates or anyone else interested in a seasonal job opportunity.
Summer job fair locations include:
- East side: Ransburg YMCA at 501 N. Shortridge RoadÂ
- North side: Jordan YMCA at 8400 Westfield Blvd.
- South side: Baxter YMCA at 7900 S. Shelby St.
Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is encouraged to secure time for an interview. Registration for each location — Ransburg YMCA, Jordan YMCA and Baxter YMCA — is available online.
