If you’re looking to learn more about computers or improve your web-surfing skills, La Plaza may have the class for you.

The eastside community organization is offering a free six-week digital literacy course in Spanish starting this week.

The class will cover a variety of topics, including an introduction to computer hardware and software, how to create, save and organize files, how to search the web, sending emails and the basics of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The classes start the week of April 14, and there are several day and time slots. You will be assigned to a slot based on your availability and the number of available seats.

Classes are free, but you must register online.
