If you’re looking for a new four-legged friend, you’re in luck — Indianapolis Animal Care Services is holding a fee-free adoption event March 14..

The St. Patrick’s Day-themed Lucky Tails Adoption Event will happen from noon to 7 p.m at the IACS shelter, 2600 S. Harding St.

Attendees will get a chance to meet a wide variety of dogs and cats and speak with adoption counselors to find a friend that best fits their lifestyle.

Adoption fees will be waived, and every adopted pet will go home up to date on their vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, and with a goody bag to help them start their new life.

You can see the dogs available for adoption at this website.

If you can’t make it to this event, IACS will have several pop-up adoption events throughout the city in March and April.
