
Southside families can be sure their kids are up-to-date with their required health screenings and immunizations at an upcoming wellness event.
The Villages of Indiana is offering free services and school supplies just in time for back-to-school season. The event will feature free vision, hearing and well-child checks as well as immunizations. The vaccinations will be available to infants, children and adults.
Attendees can also sign up for low-cost exams. Dental exams will be $20 without insurance, or free with Medicaid. Youth physicals will be $10.
The event will also offer free school supplies, including clear backpacks.
The Villages of Indiana and CareSource Wellness Day will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 19 at the Children’s Village Childcare Center in the AmeriPlex business park, 5555 Galeao Court.
The Villages encourages those interested in immunizations to register online using the code “IN65942” and selecting “The Villages Child Care Center – 7/19/25.”
Advanced registration is also recommended for dental exams. To sign up, visit The Villages’ online registration form and enter the site name, “The Villages.”
