Burnt out English majors, rejoice: You can hit your reading goal and get back in the classroom at the University of Indianapolis this fall.
From August to December, UIndy is offering a course examining “To the Lighthouse” by Virginia Woolf. The class — part of the school’s “Communiversity” program — is open to both students and community members.
Woolf’s 1927 novel follows the Ramsay family and their visits to the Isle of Skye in Scotland over the course of a decade, before and after World War I.
The class will be offered asynchronously and fully online, though you can attend some lectures in person. Students are expected to do the reading and participate in discussion posts each week.
