Warren Township schools administrators will present their annual legislative forum Jan. 25.

The meeting allows far east side parents, community members and staff a chance to hear directly from legislators about changes in education law that could affect their families.

A dozen public officials have been invited to attend the forum, which is sponsored by the Warren Township Board of Education. Invited panelists include:

  • Sen. LaKeisha Jackson, D-Indianapolis
  • Sen. Andrea Hunley, D-Indianapolis
  • Sen. Michael Crider, R-Greenfield
  • Sen. Aaron Freeman, R-Indianapolis
  • Rep. Mitch Gore, D-Indianapolis 
  • Rep. Blake Johnson, D-Indianapolis
  • Rep. Robin Shackleford, D-Indianapolis
  • Councilor Michael-Paul Hart, a Republican
  • Councilor Rena Allen, a Democrat
  • Councilor Brian Mowery, a Republican
  • Councilor Andy Nielsen, a Democrat

The forum will be 9-11 a.m. Jan. 25 at the Warren Education & Community Center, 975 N. Post Road.

No registration is required.
