Come out to the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center on June 5 for a free screening of a documentary focused on hunger and food insecurity in Indiana.
The screening of “Food, Insecure: A Documentary That Hits Home” will run from 4-5:15 p.m. and will be followed by a community conversation to reflect, share and explore how community members can work together to create lasting change.
The screening is a part of the center’s attempt to address growing food insecurity in the West Indianapolis neighborhood and surrounding communities. The Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center, 1920 W. Morris St., is also attempting to raise funds to build a new food pantry to serve the area.
To register for the screening, head to the center’s event page.
