If you’re a young adult interested in working in construction — and earning your high school diploma — check out these upcoming classes.
YouthBuild Indy, a construction training program, is accepting applications for its next cohort starting in March. Over about six months, students will earn their high school equivalency and a construction certification. They’ll also get paid up to $6,500 throughout the program.  Â
You must be between the ages of 18-24 to participate. There’s no work experience required, and those with criminal records are encouraged to sign up.Â
In addition to a high school diploma and construction certification, students also receive career counseling and help getting a job.
