Victory College Prep invites the community to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a family literacy night Oct. 3.
The event will feature activities in the Victory College Prep school cafeteria and a food truck.
The program is organized in partnership with Southeast Community Services and its Libros Para Indy program, which offers a bilingual book exchange to Indy families.
The literacy night is from 5-6:30 p.m. at Victory College Prep, 1780 Sloan Ave. It comes as students will be reviewing influential Hispanic authors and Spanish language culture in class. More information is available on the school’s website.
