The Immigrant Welcome Center is offering free citizenship classes for people wanting to become U.S. citizens. The eight-week class starts Oct. 18.

Classes are from 10 a.m. to noon. Sessions will be held at the Immigrant Welcome Center’s office, located at 2049 N. Meridian St. 

As part of the class, you will receive a workbook. The class also offers citizenship exam preparation and mock interviews to get you ready for the citizenship interview.
