Families and community members can learn how to support kids’ mental health during an upcoming training.

Education reform advocate EmpowerED Families is organizing a virtual meeting with a mental health expert as a part of its Parents Connecting series.

Tracy Pruitt, an outreach coordinator at Eskenazi Health, will provide tips on how adults can help protect student well-being.

The event is on Zoom and free to attend. The organization also has planned a $50 Kroger gift card raffle.

The training begins at 6 p.m. Dec. 19. Registration is available on the EmpowerED Families website.
