Get the skills you need to get a good job in the construction industry at these free classes at the Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center.
The center is partnering with Indianapolis-based BY Construction Training to provide fundamental training from June 30 to Aug. 29 on Mondays and Wednesdays.
The training will help participants earn their required certifications from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and National Center for Construction Education & Research.
It will also connect participants with local employers and earn paid work experience with the nonprofit Home Repairs for Good.
To sign up, fill out the Mary Rigg Employment and Education Inquiry form and select “construction training.”
