Expanding on his complete replacement of the Indiana University Board of Trustees in early June, Gov. Braun made three new appointments Tuesday along with other changes to various boards and commissions across Indiana.

Braun’s new IU Board of Trustees appointments include Marilee Springer, a partner at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath; Dr. David Hormuth, a surgeon at IU; and Isaac White, IU student trustee. All three have begun their terms effective immediately.

Springer and Hormuth’s terms will expire in June 30, 2028, while White’s term expires June 30, 2026.

As well as the new changes to the IU Board of Trustees, Braun has made appointments to three other boards and commissions.

Adding to the Environmental Rules Board, Braun appointed John Graham from Monroe County.

Appointed to the Allen County Judicial Nominating Commission is Stephanie Veit, vice president commercial banker at JPMorgan Chase; Joe Jordan, president and CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Indiana; and Mark Boyd, financial advisor for Summit Financial Group.

Two people were appointed to the Commission on Improving the Status of Children in Indiana: Audrey Arbogast, chief of staff at Indiana’s Office of Health and Family Services, and Chad Ranney, Indiana state budget director.
