The audacious, the eccentric and the strange converge for a night of music and mischief. Mirror Indy’s arts and culture newsletter, Play List, is throwing a party and YOU are invited.

Join us 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, at the State Street Pub. Tickets are $12.51 online, or you can pay $10 at the door.

The Circus is Back in Town!” is a circus-themed variety show featuring:

  • Musician Cathy Morris
  • Comedian J Bland from Made Man Improv
  • Puppet guests with Matt Holzkom of Joe Pluto
  • Burlesque by Haute Hunny
  • A special performance by FUQUA.

And, you can expect general good 21+ goofiness from the Mirror Indy team.

The night will be hosted by Free Press Indiana’s market director Ebony Chappel, and Mirror Indy’s arts and culture reporter, Mesgana Waiss, will be the DJ for the night (she will announce her DJ name soon). Community journalism director Ariana Beedie will have the special role of narrator.

As for me, all I can say is that I will be a “silent” part of the show. The rest is a surprise.

It will be a night to celebrate local talent and creativity and we hope to see you there.
