When you need to focus on healing, figuring out how hospitals can help with your medical bills might not be the first thing you can worry about. But when those big bills come, you have rights.
Indiana Community Action Poverty Institute will host two free online trainings 10 a.m. to noon July 30 or 6:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 7.
For the first 90 minutes, their policy analyst will guide you through dealing with and preventing medical debt. In the last half hour, attendees can ask questions. The expert can’t give legal advice, but they will do their best to share answers and resources.
