Prior to joining Mirror Indy, I worked as the public engagement editor for the IndyStar. I am also the former editor of the Indianapolis Recorder, the nation's fourth oldest Black-owned newspaper. In 2021, I was named Ball State University Outstanding Journalism Alumna! #ChirpChirp
Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with my children. I'm a volleyball mom, so I enjoy watching my daughter play. I also like to exercise and am a certified Body Pump instructor. I love music and dancing as well as good food and a good book.
I came to this organization because I'm passionate about local journalism, and you can't get more local than Mirror Indy! Community is at the heart of everything we do.
