Today’s the day. Mirror Indy is officially six months old. Happy half-birthday to us! Thank you for being a part of our success and explosive growth over the last six months — and a special shout out to those of you who have already contributed to our half-birthday campaign. I’ve been blown away by the response. I can also promise it’s the last time we’ll be asking for half-birthday gifts.

Can you believe we’ve been at this for 183 days already? I can’t! It feels like just yesterday we pushed the “go-live button” on Dec. 5, 2023.

Since then, our coverage has helped change the landscape of local news in Indianapolis and centers the voices of our neighbors whose stories are at the core of all we do.

We’re not only bringing you the news about what’s going on — we’re helping to explain why it matters.

As I gather the newsroom team this afternoon to raise a glass to our success over the last six months, I’m also planning to share the results of our half-birthday membership campaign and the names of those who’ve contributed to hitting our goal.

If you’re able, I hope I can count on having your name on that list of supporters.

If you’ve yet to give, there’s still plenty of time.

Use this link to make your membership contribution today.

Most importantly, thank you for being our champion to help make these last six months impactful and rewarding. We’re just getting started.
