Community members can receive free health screenings and resources during the Black Family Wellness Expo on March 15.

The event is hosted by the Indianapolis and Circle City chapters of The Links, Incorporated, an international nonprofit founded in 1946 for African American women and women of African descent. The volunteer organization is hosting wellness expos across the country for its National Impact Day of Service.

Attendees will receive free blood pressure screenings from IU Health, dental screenings, vaccinations, fire safety tips and education materials. Food and giveaways are also included. 

The event is from noon to 3 p.m. at GEO Next Generation Academy, 4010 N. Sherman Drive
