How do you plan to reach out to constituents about what their needs are?

What are the top issues facing your district that you think you would have the power to address as a constable?
Court papers are not being served on time or even served. Court writs need to be served on time, just in case there is something wrong with the writ. The current constable is never available or able for the residents to get in touch with him to discuss their concern.
What role does a good constable play in township government?
The constable office does not have a role in township government, how every as a law enforcement officer they can provide additional security for the residents of Pike Township.
One issue we have consistently is that people aren’t properly served. What efforts would you make to serve legal paperwork to people?
As the constable I would have three checklists in place:
- Have the papers sent through the mail system.
- Have a list of what papers that the constables would have to sign in and out what papers that they are taken to serve.
- I will spot check by calling the residents to make sure they receive their legal paperwork.
Q: How would you vet deputy constable?
As the constable, I would have every deputy, commit to a nationwide background check along with fingerprint with the Indiana State Police.
