When I was growing up, places of worship were there to fill a need. A spiritual need, yes, but also social and community needs.

When I moved to Indianapolis in 2025, I couldn’t help but notice the churches everywhere. It made me wonder: What place does faith have in our city today? Why do we still gather at churches when many of our needs can be met through other avenues?

In Keeping the Faith tells the stories of people who find connection and peace through their religions and beliefs.
