Indy residents can get free health screenings, physicals, medication refills and more at a clinic on the west side.

The Near West Free Clinic is run by Indianapolis college students who are supervised by medical professionals from hospitals across the city. Walk-ins are welcome every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Living Faith Church, 2120 W. Washington St.

No insurance or identification documents are required. Spanish-speaking translators are also available to assist patients.

The clinic also offers pediatrics, mental health consultations, athletic training and help for managing chronic conditions.

Student staff members are from the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Butler University’s physician assistant program, the University of Indianapolis’ athletic training and physical therapy programs and Marian University’s social work program.

You can call the clinic with any questions at 317-660-1093.
