The Indianapolis Public Library has partnered with Gold Torch Notary Services to provide free notarizations the second Saturday of each month in Lawrence.
The free services are provided from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Fort Ben library branch, 9330 E. 56th St. All signers and witnesses must present a valid government photo ID. Library staff will not serve as witnesses.
Patrons must check in at the “Ask Here” desk and will be assisted first come, first served.
General notarizations offered include:
- Power of attorney (non-real estate)
- Medical directives
- School forms
- Parental consent forms
- Identity verification affidavits
- Custody or guardianship letters
- General affidavits
- Jurats and oaths
