Lawrence Township residents can now get free rides to food pantries in the area.

The rides are offered through a new partnership between the Lawrence Township Trustee’s Office and Pathways Resource Center Inc. Pathway’s Driven 2 Success Micro Transit Program will provide transportation from resident homes to two food pantries in Lawrence Township.

Participants can request a ride to Sharing Place Food Pantry, 6501 Sunnyside Road, and to Community Cupboard of Lawrence, 7101 Pendleton Pike.

Rides can be scheduled online 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. After requesting a ride, a scheduler will send a text to confirm the ride. Clients also can call 317-890-1624 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
