Beech Grove is resuming its free clean city initiative for 2026.

In addition to paper shredding, the drive-up recycling program allows residents to get rid of hard-to-recycle items, such as:

  • Metal and appliances (except tube TVs)
  • Hearing aids
  • Eyeglasses
  • Medicine
  • Used syringes

Community members will receive assistance unloading items from 9 a.m. to noon March 7, June 6, Sept. 5 and Nov. 7 at Beech Grove City Hall, 806 Main St.
