The 4th annual Butter art fair turned an old car factory into a showcase of the work of Black visual artists from all over the country.

Mali and Alan Bacon, the co-founders of GANGGANG, the organization that hosts Butter, expected more than 10,000 people would visit the Stutz from Aug. 29-Sept. 1 to see art, dance at the after-hours Melt party at the Vogue, attend community programs, check out live music on the new outdoor stage and play in the kids’ zone.
