This spring, head to Frederick Douglass Park for free yoga and meditation classes.
Indy Community Yoga is hosting the sessions from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday mornings starting March 1. The classes are beginner-friendly, with a focus on relaxation and movement. Participants can also meditate, practice mindful listening and share reflections with the group.
The classes will be held in the Frederick Douglass Park Family Center, 1616 E. 25th St. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes and bring your own mat, though some equipment will be available to borrow if needed.

Doctors recommend getting at least 30 minutes of physical activity five days a week. During the winter months, that can include yoga and other classes offered in Indianapolis.Â
