Students can apply to IU Indianapolis for free from Sept. 22-26.

IU Indy is one of dozens of Indiana colleges and universities participating in College Application Week, a statewide effort to encourage high school seniors to apply to college. Other Indianapolis-area schools — Marian University, Martin University, University of Indianapolis and Ivy Tech Community College — have free applications year-round.

To apply to IU Indy for free, use the code “INCOLLGO” on your application to waive the fee.

Other universities that are waiving their application fees include University of Southern Indiana, Purdue Northwest and Fort Wayne, and IU Fort Wayne. View all participating institutions on Learn More Indiana’s website.

As part of the state’s college-going initiative, students can also fill out a survey to be entered to win one of five $1,000 deposits into an Indiana 529 savings account. The deadline for the contest is Nov. 21. Fill out the survey online.
