Students can apply to many Indiana colleges for free from Sept. 21-25.
Several Indiana colleges and universities are waiving their application fees as part of College Application Week, the state’s annual push to get Hoosier students to apply to college.
Here are some of the colleges that will be waiving fees:
- IU Indianapolis: Use code “INCOLLGO” when applying.
- IU Bloomington: For Indiana residents only. Use the code “BLCOLLGO.”
- Purdue University, Indianapolis and West Lafayette: Make sure to select the “Indiana College Go!” fee waiver on the Common App.
- Butler University
- Ball State University

This fall, students can also win one of five $1,000 scholarships, which will be deposited to an Indiana 529 account. Apply by filling out this survey.
To enter the contest, students must be at least 18 years old, be an Indiana resident and have a Social Security or Tax Identification Number. The deadline to apply is Nov. 24.
