Cleaning up from a flood can be overwhelming. 

In addition to keeping yourself safe when in flooded areas, it’s also important to dispose of flood waste responsibly to keep your neighborhood safe.

Here are some resources to help if you’re cleaning up from Indy’s recent floods.

Drop off debris

The city has set up three dumpsters to dispose of flood waste in the neighborhoods hit hardest by the weekend’s floods.Ā 

Here are the locations:

Make sure to only put flood-related debris in the dumpsters, including tree branches. 

Recycle electronics

If you have electronics that were damaged in the floods, you can recycle them safely at RecycleForce.Ā 

Businesses and organizations can call 317-532-1367 to schedule a pickup. 

As for individuals, you can drop off damaged items or other electronic waste at Dock 1 of 816 N. Sherman Drive.
