Over the last weekend, we’ve seen neighbors across Indianapolis come together to support each other during historic flooding.
If you evacuated your home and need clothes, food or supplies, we gathered a list of resources. For emergency medical needs, call 911. If you need to report damage or want to start finding resources, call 211 and check out the state’s disaster resources page. You can also call the Red Cross at 888-684-1441.
The city posted a flooding resources page, which includes how to make a claim for damage, where to find shelter and what supplies people need most. If you know of community resources, submit them to this online form and they will be added to a community resources map.
If you live in Ravenswood, neighbors are using their Facebook group to post updates on dumpsters, finding shelter and meetings.
If you live in Rocky Ripple, check the town’s website or Facebook page for updates on needs and assistance.
We will update this story as we learn about more resources.
