If you’re interested in working in the construction industry, you can learn about opportunities at an upcoming event.

The Electrical Training Institute will host an open house for its apprenticeship program starting at 4:30 May 27 at 1751 S. Lawndale Ave.

The Electrical Training Institute trains all future union electricians in Indianapolis. The electrical apprenticeship program is typically five years, and includes both classroom instruction and paid work experience.

At the open house, attendees will learn about the program and the union electrical industry as a whole.

The event is free and open to the public. If you attend the event and create a user account, you will have your $35 application fee for the apprenticeship waived.
