Before coming to Free Press Indiana News, I worked as a beat reporter at the Kokomo Tribune for 10 years and then as the state reporter for CNHI, which owns nine newspapers in Indiana. Other former jobs include long-haul trucker, taxi driver and short-order cook.
I joined FPI News to help unpack the policies and issues that impact all of us — and provide that coverage for free to any Hoosier or media outlet. I’m a Hoosier native from Bluffton. My wife, Kelly, and I have lived in Kokomo for 15 years and travel any chance we get. We’re aiming to eventually visit every continent (two more to go). Other hobbies include picking on the guitar, collecting instruments, trivia and paddling Indiana waterways.
