Mariel Greenlee has been living and working in Indy dance since 2005. She is a freelance dancer, choreographer, teaching artist, and mom, as well as the founder of the Indy Dance Council. She spent 15 years dancing professionally with Dance Kaleidoscope, and teaches classes locally in ballet, modern, musical theater, and stage movement. She has staged choreography on Dance Kaleidoscope, Indianapolis Ballet, The Phoenix Theater, Indiana Repertory Theater, Indy Summer Stock Stage, Marian University, American Lives Theater, Park Tudor High School, Pittsburgh Public Theater, and is a member of Indy Shakespeare Company. Her current pursuit as the Artistic Director of the Indy Dance Council, fueled by nearly 20 years as a local dance artist, is one of service to the dance community and future generations of dancers that will continue to shape the scene going forward.
