The Center Township Trustee’s Office is hosting a variety of events and assistance programs this month.
Unless noted otherwise, all events take place at the Center Township Trustee’s Office, located at the Julia Carson Government Center, 300 E. Fall Creek Parkway N. Drive.

Veterans’ resource table
🗓️ 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Mondays
📍 Julia Carson Government Center, 300 E. Fall Creek Parkway N. Drive
The Indianapolis Office of Veteran Services is available to connect veterans with resources and opportunities available through the city’s public and private partners.
Free movie night
🗓️ Doors open at 5 p.m. and show starts at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9

A free screening of the live-action animated remake of Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch.”
Food truck Fridays

Sea 4 Yourself will be at the Center Township Trustee’s Office on Sept. 19, followed by Lupita’s Taqueria on Sept. 26. The vendor for Sept. 12 is still to be determined.
Homebuyer’s workshop
🗓️ 6-8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9
📍 Julia Carson Government Center, 300 E. Fall Creek Parkway N. Drive
Representatives from the Central Indiana Realtist Association, part of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, will be available to answer questions about paths to homeownership.
Parade of Hope
🗓️ 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13
📍 10th Street and Belmont Avenue
The parade route will end at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1301 Goodlet Ave. After the parade, there will be a community giveaway, free lunch and entertainment.
Veterans’ resource fair

The Veterans Lending Group and the city of Indianapolis will offer resources available to veterans. Food provided. To RSVP, call or text 317-370-8375.
Free haircuts

Let-a-Vet Mobile Cuts is offering free haircuts.
Free showers

Indy Urban Showers will offer free showers and other hygiene products to those experiencing homelessness.
HIV testing and fresh produce giveaway

The BU Wellness Network will offer HIV testing and fresh fruits and vegetables.
