If you’ve built up a stash of reusable water bottles, Indianapolis Food Not Bombs can give those extra bottles a new home. The volunteer group serves free meals every Sunday in Indianapolis, and they’re planning to give out clean water bottles, too.
The organization is accepting donated bottles in any condition, whether they’re covered in stickers or dented. As long as it holds water, you can drop it off to locations around Indianapolis all summer.
The bottles will be given to people who are unhoused. Local businesses can sign up to be donation locations by messaging Indianapolis Food Not Bombs on Instagram. Food Not Bombs will provide a box and a laminated flyer.
